New Zealand Man Jailed in US

15 10 2012

A man by the name of Robin Han, 43-years-old, plead guilty to federal charges in July after a long investigation by US immigration and Homeland security dealing with fake pharmaceuticals. Han supplied large amounts of fake erectile dysfunction drugs to distributors in CA, TX, and Europe. The GREAT news is that he has been sentenced to 18 months prison in the United States. I believe it should be a longer sentence. He is playing with lives of innocent people.

US authorities had pursued him since 2006, when he was working as a physician in China, after US authorities found a package from China containing counterfeit Cialis pills and Cialis packaging in CA. Originally he was charged at the end of 2007, but he was not arrested until March of 2012 when arrived in CA from Hong Kong. Special Agent Claude Arnold says that “This sentence should serve as a stern warning to those selling counterfeit pharmaceuticals over the internet.”
